Chairman of the FA Cup committee Alhaji Lepowura Mohammed Nuru Deen Jawula is excited about how the round of 64 draw of the MTN FA Cup panned out.
Asante Kotoko will play away in the Round of 64 in the MTN FA Cup after the second round draw was made on Wednesday at the Ghana Football Association head office in Accra.
The draw saw the sixteen premier league sides who joined the Cup competition after drawing a bye during the preliminary round matches all kept apart.
And according to Alhaji Jawula this is one of the most interesting pairings so far.
“The draw was exciting, the premier league clubs are not meeting yet but that gives us further expectation for the coming round,” he told Joy sports
“Nonetheless there are a few interesting fixtures that involve old rivals.”
The second round matches will be played between December 18-23.
