This year’s focus will be on two major topics which include, ‘Quality of Underwriting and Claims Handling and its impact on Underwriting Profit’ and ‘Exploiting the Annuities Market in Ghana, Key Considerations for success.’
The CIIG advocates the need to imbibe in insurers, the rudiments of professional ways of handling insurance policies to win the trust of the insuring public.
The conference will also feature mentorship sessions to allow for young professionals to identify role models in certain areas of the insurance profession they find interest in.
The CIIG hopes to leverage the event to officially launch an awards ceremony slated for November 2019.
The 2019 CIIG AGM and Educational Conference is themed, “Improving professional insurance practice; back to basics.”
