Ghanaian music producer, Possi Gee, has expressed disappointment in artistes who abandon him after he has helped them.
According to the ‘Taking Over’ beatmaker, he has always been available and open to working with new and old acts but whenever he reaches out to these artistes for features, they turn him down.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Possi Gee said “whenever I help certain artistes in their songs, they later turn me down when I call on them for collaborations and it hurts me so much.
“I send them my beats and they simply refuse to record their verses on them,” he lamented.
The music producer, born Muhammad Awal, said that he suspects the artistes are refusing to feature on his works because of money.
However, when he questions them about money they only give excuses “but these artistes readily feature other producers.”
When asked what the way forward was, Possi Gee, pleaded with Ghanaian musicians to stay united and share each other’s songs as their counterparts from Nigerian do.
