Peak Lyceum School emerged victorious in the fourth edition of Swim series; an interschool swimming competition for children aged 4 to 14 years.
This year’s event took place over the weekend at the Tesano Sports complex.
The Swim series is an annual interschool event organised by Streamline Aquatics Limited to provide a platform for students to exhibit their hard work in swimming, celebrate their successes and have fun.
The competition is also a means to generate interest in swimming among students, parents and other stakeholders.
The competition saw over 120 swimmers from five schools - Roman Ridge School (two time winners – 2017 and 2018), Delhi Public School International, McCarthy Hill School, MultiKids Inclusive Academy and Peak Lyceum.
Speaking to Ralph Quaye, the founder of Streamline Aquatics Limited, he highlighted the objective of organising the competition each year.
He said, “Swim Series was birthed because of the desire to celebrate the efforts that students put into developing their swimming ability alongside their academics. The competition aims to promote the students' interest in the sport, as well as that of the parents and the general public.”
