Nana Obiri Boahene, a leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Obiri Boahene has charged party members waging media war to cease fire and settle their disputes out of public.
Commenting on the disparities emerging in the party, Nana Obiri Boahene condemned the recent media exchanges between Mr. Bryan Acheampong, aid to NPP Chair and the Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong as well as that between Jake Obetsebi-Lamptey and Mr. Fred Oware.
Speaking on "Badwam" on Adom TV Thursday, onetime minister of state in charge of The Interior under the John Kufour administration those engaged in the media war to channel their energies into building and preparing the party for victory in 2016.
According to him, the few bad nuts in the party cannot thrash the hard won reputation of the party and as such, must sacrifice their selfish needs and fight for the party.
He reiterated his support for any candidate who emerges victorious after the National Executives’ election but pledged his unflinching support for 2012 failed president candidate Nana Akuffo Addo, should he make a third bid.
