Myjoyonline sources reveal National Women's Organizer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) Jemima Anita De-sosoo, has been appointed deputy National NADMO coordinator.
She will be assisting the National Coordinator Kofi Portuphy.
The National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) is the government agency that is responsible for the management of disasters as well as other emergencies in Ghana. The board operates under Ghana's Ministry of Interior.
Kofi Portuphy has declared his intention to contest the National Chairmanship position of the governing National Democratic Congress
Anita began her political career as a serial caller and rose through the ranks as a ward women's organiser, a constituency women's organiser, a former national deputy propaganda secretary.
She holds a Bachelors' degree in Business Administration from the Ghana Institute of Public Administration (GIMPA).
