For a moment, it looked like the whole of Kumasi had poured onto the streets as the crowd milled by the minute along the route.
Corporate institutions, the military, police and other security agencies, social clubs, students and individuals, once again, responded to the roll call for the Luv FM Fitness Walk, the first of quarterly event for 2020.
Participation at the pre-walk aerobics was massive enough to match attendance for previous editions.
Then the patrons set off from Kumasi Mall through Asokwa , Ahodwo Roundabout , Nhyiaeso, Adum, Asafo , Amakom, security personnel had a lot of work to do, controlling the crowd and traffic.
It took about 30 minutes for the last batch to arrive back at the Mall after the fastest group of walkers had ‘breasted aced the tape’ for the second aerobics session.
Special prizes were handed to the youngest and oldest walkers, with the special ‘koko’ session providing the ‘biggest’ side attraction.
Of course , the’ jama’ session featured prominently, with Morale.Com group in full flight.
The 2020 first quarter edition of Luv FM Fitness Walk was in partnership with ABSA, with support from other sponsors.
