The Youth Wing of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has asked government to hurriedly release funds for beneficiaries of the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF).
According to a statement issued by the National Youth Organiser, George Opare Addo, the government’s deliberate action of withholding funds exhibits the lack of action and empathy of the Akufo-Addo administration.

This comes after Coalition of Aggrieved Students gave government a one-week ultimatum to release money to the Student Loan Trust Fund for disbursement else it will embark on a mammoth demonstration.
Head of Operations for the Coalition, Simon Awotomia indicated that beneficiaries of the loans are facing numerous challenges due to the delay of payment. Read the statement below:Latest Stories
