First National Vice Chairman of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) Fred Oware has said he is confident he will be elected as the New Patriotic Party’s chairman at next month's national delegates conference in Tamale.
He is contesting the position with three other contestants- current Chairman Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, Paul Afoko and Stephen Ntim.
But Mr. Oware told Joy News his message has well been received by the delegates.
"The areas that I have been to, I feel very confident that I have been able to explain to them the state of our party and what we need to do to correct [them]," he said.
The aspirant also added that he has "strategies to win, my ability to lead the party into victory come 2016" is evident.
