The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) Joseph Ade Coker has charged politicians to avoid making unwarranted comments, which is capable of putting their parties and the country into disrepute.

Speaking on Badwam on Adom TV, Mr. Ade Coker expressed worry about the lack tolerance expressed by politician's towards opposing views during elections, either intra-party or inter-party.

He cautioned new entrants to learn the political etiquettes before venturing into it.  He noted that backbiting opponents to achieve personal results is archaic and as such, persons expecting to be elected into political offices must learn to communicate objectively to attract votes.

“You don’t run an opponent down with lies and insults and expect unity after elections.

"Keep quiet and learn if you don’t understand politics because nobody will spoon-feed you. We are tired of empty heads in the country,” he stated.
