The Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya constituency, Sarah Adwoa Safo has admonished her constituents not to hesitate in providing to the police, information leading to arrest of suspicious characters in their communities.
She said activities of armed robbers have become more pronounced, hence the need for all hands to be on deck to help nip the canker in the bud.
The MP said these when she donated 131 street lights to all Assembly members within the constituency.
According to her, the provision of the street lights is in her resolve to collaborate with the security agencies in the constituency to help fight crime.
The street lights will serve as a disincentive to the operations of robbers whose activities normally take place under the cover of darkness.
She further tasked personnel of the Ga East Assembly to assess malfunctioning streetlights and take steps to fix them.
