The Chief Executive Officer of Multimedia Group Limited, Mr. Kwasi Twum, is among 10 individuals honoured at the first Ghana's Most Respected Company and CEO Awards.
The CEO of Unique Trust Financial Services, Prince Kofi Amoabeng, emerged winner of the coveted prize for Most Respected CEO, 2007, while Databank Ltd, was awarded the Most Respected Company.
The prestigious event, held at the Banquet Hall of the State House, is organised by PricewaterhouseCoopers in association with the Business and Financial Times. It is to be made an annual event to engender good corporate governance and best industry practices in the business community.
The award winners were picked from a field of 103 applications peer-reviewed by their own colleagues and sets of stringent interviews by a research institution, Steadman Group, Ghana.
Among other requirements, winners were expected to show qualities such as unique and excellent leadership, resourcefulness, innovation, good corporate governance practices, promote human capital development, harmonious industrial relationship and high ethical standards.
