Stanbic Bank would soon introduce two new products for small scale entrepreneurs, market women and artisans nationwide.
The products Woba Nti and Okyena Nti are to assist small scale traders, artisans and others in the informal sector to invest in high yielding investment accounts towards their children’s education at the tertiary level and the expansion of their businesses.
Mr Alhassan Andani, Managing Director of the Bank, disclosed these to journalists at Tarkwa after opening a branch of the bank on Thursday.
He expressed worry that some people kept monies at their homes, stores and sheds and advised such persons to transact business with the banks.
Mr Andani said some traders lost their capital through fire outbreaks while others remained in their small businesses.
