Myjoyonline's David Andoh could not fail to recognise the total disregard for common hygiene by some smoked fish traders at Kaneshie market.
It is becoming rampant to see traders selling farm produce and food vendors displaying their consumables beside smelly drainages .
In most cases these traders sell their foodstuffs close to gutters and heaps of refuse around without considering health implications associated with the business.
These traders selling at Kaneshie market failed to realize that their activities could easily spark an epidemic.
The Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies should constantly check these traders to make sure they adopt sound hygienic practice at all times to save consumers.
