Members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have been cautioned not to be complacent in their campaign for votes ahead of the upcoming elections.
Mr. Kofi Mintah, Chairman of the Central Regional Disciplinary Committee of the Party, said even though indications pointed to a clear win for the NDC in the December vote, complacency could cause ruin that chance.
Mr. Mintah was addressing a meeting of the NDC at Winneba Junction on Sunday.
He tasked supporters from the Central Region to deliver all parliamentary seats and majority of the votes in favour of the NDC and its flagbearer, Professor John Evans Atta Mills.
"Our supporters in other regions will not forgive us if we fail again to deliver the region to the Party," Mr. Mintah added. He appealed to the supporters, especially the "foot soldiers", to bury their differences and work as a team to ensure a resounding victory.
"Elections are won with numbers so you should consider every body's vote as important which should not go to any other Party," he urged. 21 July 08
