The Chief Executive Officer of Unilever Ghana Mr. Charles Coffie has been adjudged marketing man of the year.
He was named alongside Ms Joyce Aryee CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Mines, who got the Marketing woman of the year.
The honours were conferred on these distinguished individuals at the 19 National Marketing Performance Awards held in Accra on Saturday.
Speaking at the ceremony the Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama called on Ghanaian workers to change their attitude to work in order to ensure a sustained economic development.
He said Ghana cannot compete favourably in the global business environment if the current work ethics continued.
The advice was contained in a speech read on his behalf by Shirley Ayorkor Botsway Deputy Minister of Trade
Master Gakpetor Atsu and Coca Cola classic were also named student and product of year.
