Maybe government is taking more than it can actually handle.
It appears government owes almost every entity in this country…BDC’s, Getfund, POTAG, UTAG, the list is endless.
Government has decided to pay for the University of Ghana road reconstruction when the University says they have a way of paying back the loan they took themselves.
Government is also putting measures in place to provide shoes and sanitary pads for pupils although government is owning caterers.
Meanwhile CHRAJ seems broke and cannot function effectively.
Government owes secondary schools subventions and so school heads are running away from food suppliers. Schools don’t have chalks to teach pupils, government owes waste collectors and so compost sites are shutdown some time.
The list is long.
What about the student doctors in Cuba who have not been paid their allowance for nine months?
I think goverment and the Ministry of Education and Finance must also set up a committee to investigate why they are not performing well. Or a group of prominent economists numbering about 62 should be housed somewhere, either Senchi or Regent hotel for a two day retreat to brainstorm why government is not delivering on its mandate.
Because why will over 200 Ghanaians renounce their citizenship in Brazil? Claiming to be Muslims fleeing the violent conflicts between different Muslim groups.

And the retreat for eminent football administrators to review the state of the game of football in Ghana and advice on a national strategy… what is going on? How come they left an individual who had once contributed to changing the face of football in Ghana, Hebert Mensah?
