The Ghana UK Based Achievement (GUBA) Awards is set to host an Entrepreneurial in November this year.
GUBA Expo will be a presentation of the work of individuals and groups that have created products based on African culture and will be a great platform for entrepreneurs to advertise and introduce their products to the mainstream market.
It will bring much needed support to participating businesses and encourage entrepreneurs to expandtheir businesses, beyond the parameters of the UK and Ghana. The Expo will also help to attract investors and advertisethe participating businesses.
The events is part of activities leading to its flagship program that is the GUBA awardsin June next year.
The GUBA Foundation, which focuses on raising awareness about autism and providing support to families and care-givers, will be expanding its services to Ghana, in October 2014,to host a GUBA Foundation Autism Awareness Week.Experts from the UK will organise workshops for local Ghanaian schools and families.
This awareness week will bring to light the issues faced by autistic families and connecthealthcare providers and services to families. It will be an opportunity for families to liaise with suitable personnel to find solutions to prevailing issues.The overall aim will be to seek substantial support for autistic families from the Ghanaian government. There will be further communication on this event.
GUBA 2015 will be rewarding new and upcoming trailblazers; however the focus will be on individuals that have been consistent in shaping apositive image of Ghana.
The 5thanniversary will be running on the premise of Acknowledgement, Empowerment and Progression. GUBA Awards 2015 is set to be a monumental and positively reflective ceremony, as we look back to the inception of GUBA and acknowledge those who have consistently upheld the flag of excellence.
