Professor John Evans Atta Mills, presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress is set to begin an intensive campaign tour of the Ashanti Region on Thursday.
He is expected to spend not less than a week to woo voters in the region, which is said to be the mine field of the ruling New Patriotic Party.
A statement signed by the head of communications Koku Anyidoho said the Prof would roll out his 'Better Ghana' agenda of; investing in people, job Creation, and infrastructure expansion.
He would further unveil how the new NDC government would operate in an open, honest, humble, truthful and transparent manner.
He is however expected to embark on his usual door-to-door campaign in two Greater Accra Constituencies; Okaikoi North and Krowor, with his Better Ghana message on Wednesday, October 15, 2008.
He is also expected to file his nomination at the office of the Electoral Commission tomorrow before embarking on his campaign trip to Kumasi.
