Access Bank Ghana today announced the roll out of a campaign to encourage Ghanaians to save as part of our culture. The campaign will be rewarding those that imbibe the culture with exciting incentives.
The campaign dubbed, “Big Deal”, aims to encourage members of the public to sign up to a range of flexible savings and current account options at the Bank to secure their financial future. Existing customers are also expected to improve their financial well being by increasing their savings deposits.
“Access Bank aims to put the power of banking into the hands of all consumers in this country and beyond. We desire to break down the structural and educational barriers that hinder access to banking,” said Stephen Abban, Group Head of Personal Banking, Access Bank Ghana. “Through the Big Deal campaign, we are giving Ghanaians more reasons to use savings as a tool for financial empowerment”
Access Bank believes that by deepening engagement with the general public including the unbanked and underserved segments of the market, the Bank can support people to lift themselves out of poverty, support jobs for those around them and share in the economic growth of the country.
“As a Bank, we understand the difficult times that we live in, so we are helping both families and small business owners to secure their future through flexible savings and current account products that promote wealth creation. We are also offering lasting rewards to improve their living conditions and give them the little comforts of life” said Dolapo Ogundimu MD for Access for Access Bank Ghana.
Spanning a period of three months, the Big Deal campaign brings the importance of saving to the fore, while giving consumers the chance to win various amazing prizes; the grand prize being a luxury home furnishing in addition to many other household appliances such as flat screen televisions, washing machines, air-conditions, refrigerators, microwave ovens, food processors among others.
Existing and new customers are required to deposit GHS200 cedis into their account and grow their balances over the three-month period to join the expected 200 customers who will be rewarded with interesting exciting prices.
