Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, the Presidential Candidate of New Patriotic Party (NPP), has expressed appreciation to Ghanaians for voting for the party on December 7.
He has also appealed to the electorate to vote for him in the presidential run-off on December 28, to enable him to ensure equitable distribution of the "National Cake" to move the country forward.
Nana Akufo-Addo made the appeal when he interacted with fishermen, fishmongers, traders, and artisans at Winneba, Agona Swedru, Mankessim and Cape Coast, during his tour of the Central Region on Saturday. He appealed to the electorate in the region to retain the NPP in power to enable it to continue with the good works of President John Agyekum Kufuor.
Nana Akufo-Addo said the NPP Government has acquired logistics including speed boats to equip the Navy for effective patrol on the seas to check activities of big trawlers.
He was accompanied on the tour by Nana Ato Arthur, Central Regional Minister, Mr Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin North, Ms. Christine Churcher, Member of Parliament for Cape Coast, Mr. Dankwa Smith, Central Region Chairman of NPP and Mr Stephen Asamoah Boateng, Minister of Information and National Orientation.
