The International Christian Israeli Embassy (ICIE),an organization committed to promoting the affairs of Israel in Ghana has called on the international media to shun all biases when reporting the Israel-Hamas war currently ongoing in the Palestinian city of Gaza.
The ICIE has also called on the international community to come to the
aid of Israel in the wake of Hamas attacks as she (Israel) tried to protect her citizens.
Apostle Kofi Oduro Ofori-Agyeman- Prempeh, leader of ICIE, who made the call at a press conference in Accra on Saturday to lobby for media support in projecting the beliefs of Israel, said Israel was committed to world peace and also to live in peace with her neighbours.
He said the main reason for which Israel went to war with the Hamas was to protect her citizens but not to kill the Hamas people as being portrayed by a section of the international media.
“The goal of the ongoing Israeli Military Campaign against Hamas in Gaza is simply to stop the continuous firing of rockets into harmless Israeli towns and cities” he stated.
He said even though there may be excesses, they must not be concentrated on as if Israel were willingly killing the Hamas, arguing that Israel could not wait for her enemy to maim her citizens, she must also act.
Apostle Ofori-Agyeman-Prempeh therefore called on the Christendom to support the efforts of Israel at protecting her citizenry against the Hamas attacks.
The ongoing crisis between Israel and Hamas followed the expiration of a six-month cease fire truce between the two neighbours in December last year.
