It's every writer's headache to have an avalanche of information and still have the notepad or PC blank for minutes, sometimes hours not knowing where to begin.
Yes it happened to me in Israel. It was a week's visit to the holy land and it was my last day.
I woke up rather early to write and it took me a couple of hours to start. I had my notes, my pictures and my research information i gathered but the page was still blank. I was overly excited about what i saw and didn't quite know exactly where to start from. My mind was saturated with so much information and yet I struggled to package that information in a way that will convey my opinions and of course excitement to my readers in a way that would excite them the same way it did to me.
For hours, I wrote this, I deleted; I wrote that, I deleted, again, again and again until I got the appropriate note to start the songs of Francisca in the holy land of Israel.
We can now travel on my timeline in Israel which began with the tour of the panoramic view of the Old Jerusalem city from the Mount of Olives. A lot is said about Mount Olives but it was thoroughly exciting seeing it for myself.
Mount Olives

Over 3,000 years ago I am told, were burials on this Jewish cemetery on Mount Olive. Over 70,000 tombs now sit peacefully on what has become a beautiful historical edifice. This is where the Jews believe the resurrection of the dead would happen in the end of days.

Just at the foot of Mount Olives is another rich historical and biblical edifice- Garden of Gethsemane. The bible in Matthew 26:36 tells the story of how Jesus Christ prayed while his disciples slept at that crucial hour. And here I was in that same Garden, neither in prayers, nor in slumber. My eyes glowing with excitement.
Follow me inside to the garden, you'll meet the gardener.

42 year old Fayez has been a gardener at the Gethsemane garden for 18 years. Before him was his father who kept the garden for over 40 years. His grandfather held that job too. Fayez shared just how blessed his family was to have tended a garden associated with Christ and gave his own personal testimony about his encounter with Jesus years ago.

The garden looked well tended, adorned with a colourful mix of flowers and partitioned by a number of pathways which added to the beauty of the site.

From the Sanctuary of the Agony of Christ I was led to the Room of the Last Supper, also known as the Upper Room or the Cenacle. For many a Christian , the last Supper would forever hold a special place in their hearts. Day after day, month after month, Christians take in bread and a wine in remembrance of Christ. Hear I was in that room. The same room Jesus and his disciples broke bread for the last time before Christ was betrayed and finally crucified.

Below the Cenacle is another amazing site-the tomb of King David. There is a synagogue through which the tomb passes. The synagogue is divided into two sections, one for men, the other for women.
Outside the tomb is a statue of David, a golden statue, symbol of how David played the harp to drive away the evil spirits that followed King Saul which captured quite aptly in 1 Samuel 6.22.
Interestingly however the Jews now want the statues removed claiming they were were against the Jewish tradition.
