The Member of Parliament for Asikuma-Odoben-Brakwa, Mr Paul C. Appiah-Ofori and Mr Emmanuel Adjei Doomson, District Chief Executive jointly presented building materials worth ¢57 million to victims of a rainstorm at Breman Bedum.
They included 350 bags of cement and eight packets of roofing sheets from the MP’s share of the Common Fund.
Mr Appiah-Ofori presenting the items said they should be used to rehabilitate the Methodist Junior Secondary School (JSS) that was among the buildings that were destroyed during the rainstorm for classes to resume.
Reverend Emmanuel Dagbui, Pastor In-charge of the Methodist Church, who received the items on behalf of the community, expressed appreciation for their kind gesture.
He appealed to institutions, organizations and philanthropists to assist rehabilitate the victims.
