Musician Quamina MP has revealed that he was not prepared for an interview on popular UK based show, Tim Westwood TV.
According to the 'Group Up Chale' artiste, his appearance on the show was arranged by a DJ he had met the day before.
In an interview with a popular blogger, Kobby Kyei, he said it came as a surprise the following day when he was asked to be on the show.
Not being one to miss a great opportunity, Quamina MP took the chance to introduce himself to a new world by going on the show without adequate preparation.
The video of the interview on which he did a freestyle was shared on Tim Westwood's twitter page on March 11, and many Ghanaians are unimpressed.
Although some Ghanaians praised the ‘Wiase’ artiste for his work on the show, others felt he wasted an opportunity to show the world his work.
But Quamina MP believes his freestyle is not bad because he is not a rapper.
He referred his fans to a second freestyle video which was on an Afrobeat tune and is certain they would love it.
Despite the backlash, Quamina MP is excited to see his name trend number one on Twitter. According to him, he is not bothered about the reviews adding that “I haven’t taken offence.”
