The Ghana Event Vendors Association of Ghana (EVAG) has launched the 2nd edition of the Ghana Event Industry Conference (GEIC) for 2020.
Speaking at a breakfast meeting to launch the event, President of EVAG, Kate Hassan, said this year’s event seeks to empower all industry players for a better future.
The theme for this year's celebration is ‘Power-Up; Increasing performance ability in the Event industry’.

She said the time has come for all event vendors to come together and work towards quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
She took the opportunity to entreat all event vendors across the country to join EVAG to work towards a common goal.
The two-day conference will start on 6th to October 8, 2020, and will include activities such as master classes, gala night, exhibition, Hawaiian night and many others.

The Ghana Event Industry Conference is a platform created for operators in the events industry to form synergies and share knowledge.
It seeks to bring event vendors nationwide together and encourage them to offer the best of services by applying the highest level of ethics and professionalism.

EVAG aims at organizing event vendors around the country, ensuring delightful delivery to clients, promoting and encouraging the highest level of ethics within the events industry and managing the sector to high standards, as well promoting professionalism with high-quality service delivery.
The Association will be an umbrella body for all individuals in the event industry, with appropriate legal and ethical methods in resolving issues, negotiating on behalf of members and promoting activities of the Events industry.
