The Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region has announced that it will allow only two visitors to see a patient admitted at the hospital.
According to a press release, “the two visitors will be allowed to see patients in turns only, except under special circumstances determined by management.”
The directives form part of measures being implemented by the hospital to manage the spread of the coronavirus, COVID-19 outbreak through the hospital and in the country.
The enforcement of the directive by the management of the KATH should see in-patient areas and dedicated visitor spaces crowd-free, to encourage a healthier and conducive environment.
