Ghana’s first Isolation and Treatment Centre is nearing completion.
The project, located at the Ga East Municipal Hospital, will be the country’s National Coronavirus Treatment Centre and will further strengthen and enhance government’s ability to deal with the coronavirus pandemic and any other infectious disease.
A joint military and civilian work force run a 12 hour shift daily to ensure that the project is completed in time.
The project is funded by the Covid-19 Private Sector Fund and has a six-week deadline but after three weeks, photojournalist, Samuel Moore visited the construction site came through with these photos.
