Ghana’s High Commission to the United Kingdom will on June 17, preside over the evacuation of stranded Ghanaians willing to fly back to Ghana.
The stranded persons are to bear the cost of travel from the UK back home to Ghana.
According to government, the evacuees upon arrival in Ghana will undergo a 14-day mandatory quarantine.
In a communique to the interested persons, the Commission said they would have to choose where they will be quarantined for either 14 or 21 days. Some of the named hotels include the Airport View Hotel, Alisa and Marriot Hotels.
Government's negotiated discount for the hotels is ¢500 for a stay at the Airport View Hotel and ¢600 for Alisa and Marriot Hotels.
