Ethiopia's national carrier, Ethiopian Airlines, has said investigations are underway to determine the cause of a fire that consumed part of one of its cargo planes at China's Shanghai Pudong airport on Wednesday.

A statement from the airline said that the cargo flight was "on a regular service" from the Chinese city to Ethiopia's capital, Addis Ababa.
