Eight more persons have died from the novel coronavirus disease according to the Ghana Health Service (GHS).
This brings the country's death toll to 199.
The service's website also indicated that 574 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed as the total number of cases reaches 39,075.
These are samples that were taken from June 23 to August but reported from the lab on August 2, said GHS.
However, 35,563 persons have recovered/discharged.
The country's active cases currently stand at 3,313.
