Former President Jerry John Rawlings has revealed that he will be releasing a book titled 'The Triumph of Evil' to expose the likes of Prof. Kwamena Ahwoi and others who "cunningly want to take over the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
This is in response to the former Local Government Minister in his administration recounting his experiences in a recently released book, 'Working with Rawlings.'
In the book, Prof Ahwoi spoke about issues which some of those concerned have refuted. The book has been greeted with a lot of criticisms.

Some criticised the timing of the book's release arguing that it is targeted at bringing disaffection for the NDC and paint Mr Rawlings black.
Mr Rawlings in his reaction said Prof Ahwoi's book aims “to preempt the exposure that his book 'The Triumph of Evil' which promises to reveal about some members of the NDC”.
He said people like Prof Ahwoi “do not expect the NPP to let go of 2020, so they are hoping to utilize the opportunity of a loss, to damage Rawlings with some vicious, manufactured stuff.”

“Their cunning calculation is that Mahama and his running mate will step aside after 2020 while they consolidate their control over the party and provide their own flag-bearer and running mate for 2024,” he added.
