The Suntreso Police in the Ashanti Region has arrested a 37-year-old man suspected to be a serial car snatcher in Kumasi.
The culprit, Alex Owusu is believed to be part of a syndicate operating in Ashanti and Western regions.
Speaking to Joy News, the Regional Police PRO, ASP Godwin Ahianyo said eight impounded taxis were found in his possession.
He said, the suspect usually hires the services of the driver from major towns but snatch the car as they embark on the journey

He added intelligence gathered over some time led to the arrest of the suspect.
Currently, Alex is assisting the police in investigations.
