Rape cases in the country has been on a steady increase, however, little has been done to protect victims of such unlawful acts.
JoyNews’ ‘Covid & The Law’ show on Sunday afternoon will discuss why victims of rape and defilement are charged for medical examination and treatment when the law states otherwise.
Host, Samson Lardy Anyenini and his panelists: Actress and Activist, Ama K Abebrese, DOVVSU Boss Owuwuaa Kyeremeh and a legal practitioner, Cynthia Nimo will probe the matter to find ways to take good care for victims while punishing perpetrators.
