The HR Focus Africa Magazine has successfully launched the HR Focus Conference 2020.
This happened at the most recent HR Focus Interactive with an audience of about 200 HR practitioners and C-Suite business leaders.
The theme for this year’s HR Focus Conference is ‘Work & Wellness’ and provides a collaborative platform for shared learning and ideation on how to enhance organizational wellbeing through employee wellbeing.
Ewurabena Neequaye, the Editor-in-Chief of HR Focus Africa stressed the importance of every organisation’s active contribution to their employees’ wellbeing beyond the office walls.
She gave an overview of what form the conference will take an informed HR Practitioners to present how they could participate in the event.
The HR Focus Conference 2020 is taking place on October 9, 2020 and will be partly physical and largely virtual.
For subscribers of the HR Focus Africa magazine, the conference is at a discounted rate of ¢100 and a rate of ¢200 for non-subscribers.
Interested participants will have to register for the limited seats available, and others will be able to join the conference virtually.
Speaking to Mrs. Hagan the Chief Executive of HR Focus, she expressed keen thoughts on the need to have HR Practitioners across industries on board, to work towards a thriving corporate world in Ghana, Africa, and beyond.
She said, “There is so much going on in the world today and the weight of all these shocking events may be too heavy for some employees to bear. Business leaders and HR Practitioners need to look beyond company targets and think strategically on how to improve the wellbeing of every organisation’s most precious asset – the people.”
This year’s conference is packed with many engaging and insightful presentations from many renowned HR Practitioners and busines leaders. The two keynote addresses will be delivered by Awo Quaison–Sackey, the regional Vice President, Human Resources of Newmont Mining Corporation, Africa Region; and Dr. Elikem Tamaklo, the Managing Director of Nyaho Medical Centre, and HR Focus’ HR Oriented CEO of the Year 2019.
This year’s HR Focus Conference is being organised in partnership with Vodafone Ghana.
In a conversation with Ashiokai Akrong, the HR Director of Vodafone Ghana, she explained their excitement to participate in this conference.
