A special Praise and Worship service was held last Sunday at the Middle Cross Impact Chapel International to inaugurate the church’s Women’s Ministry at Peace Town, a suburb of Ngleshie Amanfro in the Ga South Municipality.
A 4-member executive was prayed for by the leadership of the church and presented with Bibles to guide them in the activities of the new ministry.
After 3 years of its operations, the leadership considered it imperative to inaugurate a women’s organ to steer the affairs of women and children in the church and also to offer spiritual and physical empowerment to their members.
Speaking during the inauguration the Lady Pastor of Building for Christ International Ministry Pastor Gifty Obiri Agyekum tasked the members to spread the Gospel across their various communities in order to win more souls for Christ.
She asked them to consider themselves as Ambassadors of Christ and as such to propagate the message of Christ which has the ability to impact and change the lives of the members of the community in which the church operates.
Lady Pastor Obiri Agyekum emphasized service to the people as their core business not domineering the very people they have been called to serve.
On her part, the wife of the founder of the church Mrs Boah pleaded their readiness to serve with utmost dedication.
She noted the uniqueness of women and highlighted their ability as catalysts for change and pledged to perform their duty to ensure growth and also to promote the welfare of its members.
