Member of Parliament for Ledzokuku constituency has said he is working hard to retain the seat in the upcoming general elections.
Dr Bernard Okoe-Boye claims his interactions with the residents is a routine in his camp for which reason he believed the mandate will come his way in the December polls.
On Battleground on Joy FM Thursday, the panel hosted by Emefa Apawu deliberated on the complexities of the constituency.
The area has been noted as a swing seat with Okoe-Boye being a beneficiary of the trend but it remains to be seen whether the inclination will hold this year.

The issue of roads also came up strong during the news team’s visit to the community as residents called for an improvement in paths that linked to major roads in the area.
It will be recalled that Joy FM after numerous complaints from residents in Teshie, took up initiated a campaign dubbed #FixLEKMANow to help improve the road network along the constituency's foremost health facility.
Contractors hit the ground running days after campaign gathered steam.

In this light, Dr Oko-Boye explained the effort government in that road and similar infrastructure projects cannot go unrecognised.
"I am happy that with the help of His Excellency and Hon Amoako-Atta, the LEKMA road has been attended to. There are about 6 roads that are being worked on concurrently. It is the first time in the community," he said.
He also believes the region is one that is sensitive to the public perception of their leaders and their relations in social development and selflessness.

"I still consult at LEKMA Hospital...attending to social problems whether you're NDC or NPP. Sometimes I even have to go to the hospital with drugs in my bag because people cannot afford medications.
"Sometimes I have to go with cash as well because people have family problems which come with medical problems. Beyond all this I am someone who is very strong in terms of presence on the ground," he revealed.
The MP who doubles as the Deputy Health Minister is, however, not oblivious of the complex nature of the voters in the constituency.
Speaking on the show, the medical practitioner said he will not rest his oars until the battle is won.
"I also admit that one of the most difficult constituencies in this country and because of that until the last ballot is cast, I am not someone who is taking a break," he reiterated.
He is going up against Benjamin Ayiku Narteh who is running on the ticket of the opposition National Democratic Congress.
Mr Narteh, who was supposed to be on the same platform for debate, declined the invitation citing an alternate campaign as his basis.
According to the NDC candidate, he is on a door-to-door campaign strategy to galvanise supports to help him secure victory in the general elections.
Battleground is an hour-long programme which airs every Thursday from 7 pm – 8 pm which juxtaposes the needs of the electorate with the deeds of the parties and candidates as election 2020 approaches.
