Beverage firm, M.Y. Caesar Company Limited, has extended its corporate social responsibility to management and staff of the Ghana Airport Company Limited 50 packs of its energy drinks have so far been distributed.
The Market Operations Manager of the company, Emmanuel Nansen Chayo, presented the items to the Director of Airport Clinic at the Kotoka International Airport.
“This is to help boost their immune system in this period of Covid-19 and the re-opening of the Airport for international travels.
"It is our hope that every staff will take this opportunity to drink the product and derive its full benefit,” he said.
Government reopened the Kotoka International Airport to international air traffic after five months of closure to the Coronavirus Pandemic.
In his 16th address to the nation since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, President Akufo-Addo announced that government has decided to re-open the airport.
He explained that it is because public health officials can now conduct rapid tests to enable the isolation of passengers who might arrive in the country with the novel coronavirus.
