Gospel musician, Na Yawson has urged Ghanaians to live in unity as the December 7 polls approach.
Known in real life as Patricia Yawson, the musician observed that, in an election year, some persons, particularly the youth avail themselves to be used to cause chaos in certain parts of the country.
This, she stressed, must be resisted since Ghanaians must live in harmony and seek the prosperity of the country.
“We need to change our behaviour and love eachother as we prepare for this elections. We need to see ourselves as brothers and sisters and not allow ourselves to be divided in the name of politics,” she said. pray for Ghana and
Ghana is going to the polls to elect her leaders in the December presidential and parliamentary elections.
Therefore, launching her new single ‘Let us pray for Ghana’, the musician was optimistic that aside from the minor electoral violence that the country has recorded so far, the 2020 polls will be violence-free.
“I am sure this year’s election is going to be peaceful because we have God, that is why I preach that we need to pray for the country. And with this faith it is going to be peaceful and successful,” she said.
