Daddy Lumba is set to release a campaign song for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2020 general elections.
The song touts the achievement of the NPP and praises President Akufo-Addo for the work done in his first term in office.
The celebrated highlife singer’s endorsement comes as no surprise to Ghanaians after his 'Nana Ye Winner' campaign song that went viral in 2016.
Taking to his social media pages, President Akufo-Addo posted a snippet of the song with the caption “Official Daddy Lumba endorsement video loading.”
Daddy Lumba’s song comes barely a week after Dancehall artiste Samini’s endorsement of the NPP.
He also released a song to convince his followers and fans why they should vote for the President to stay in power.
“These are challenging times for the world. My Voice, My Vote will support leadership that has empathy and serves to create a hopeful future for the next generation,” he wrote in a Twitter post.
