A pharmaceutical company, mPharma has refurbished the Mother and Children’s Ward of the North Legon Hospital.
This move is the organisation's donation in support of the provision of quality and budget-friendly care for low-income families.
Commissioning the ward, mPharma’s Managing Director, Johnnie Allotey said the deed form part of the company’s resolve to deliver quality yet affordable healthcare to its clientele.


“mPharma is not just affordable but accessible to everybody. We realized that we wanted to give something back to the certain we have being doing business with we wanted to be such a certain where others were in the death lower categories of the economy could access health.
“So we renovated the ward. This is just Christmas gift we are offering to the hospital,” he said.

On her part, the Administrator of the North Legon hospital, Efua Okudzeto expressed a heartfelt gratitude to the company for their generous support.
She noted that there has been excellence since the company came on board.
“This year they decided to go further to help with the ward. They asked what I wanted for all the businesses we have been through for all the three years, something we want to give back, one to the society and the secondly the institute of the hospital and I said we looking for the ward refurbishment,” she noted.
