Invest for Jobs, an initiative of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development has organised a conference cloud impact for Ghanaian businesses.
This is in collaboration with getiNNOtized Ltd., a German-Ghanaian software company and the Amazon Web Services, re/start program.
The conference also coincided with the official launch of the project in collaboration with getiNNOtized seeks to create job opportunities within the cloud industry.
Some of the first batch of the 30 trainees presented on the cloud solutions to business issues.
The aim is to connect the businesses to the right talent and solutions for their businesses. It is also an opportunity for businesses to engage in leading cloud computing providers.
The conference also provided the public the opportunity to leverage the expertise from leading cloud practitioners. Who spoke about cloud use cases within the fields of health, cyber security, SME development and Agriculture.
The conference also coincided with the official launch of the Cloud Chance Project. The AWS Cloud Chance project in collaboration with getinnotized seeks to create job opportunities within the cloud industry. Some of the first batch of the 30 trainees presented on how the cloud solutions to business issues.
It should also be mentioned that the conference provides an opportunity to connect businesses to the right talent and solutions for their businesses.
This would allow companies the opportunity to engage in leading cloud computing providers.
The training for the 30 candidates is the first in a series of training lined up until December 2022 by when a total of 200 young men and women will be trained, and 180 jobs created.
The Digital Skills Accelerator Africa e.V. (DSAA) – an independent organisation focused on training highly skilled digital workforce talent in Africa – is contributing to the implementation of the Cloud Chance Project.
The DSAA is supported by the Special Initiative on Training and Job Creation, the official title of Invest for Jobs.
