President of the Apostolic Church of Ghana, Apostle Aaron Ami-Narh has advised politicians to ensure that the systems and institutions in the country function as they should.
This, he said, is to allow the country’s democracy to mature and progress.
“Let the law take its own course and in the course of time, we will all come to know the truth,” he told Joy News after dedicating the church’s auditorium for the Madina area.
His comments come to discourage the banter between politicians especially, the country’s two major political parties, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Politician of the two parties has been engaging in an unpleasant communication following the outcome of the December 7 elections.
The Apostolic Church of Ghana pastor wants politicians to put the nation above their partisan interests to improve on its democracy.
“If we go through the process, it helps the democracy of this nation to mature so let us go through the course.
He said, “Politicians are seeking power to serve us and we want them to always remember that they have no power for themselves, but to serve us.”
Apostle Ami-Narh further advised the youth and party supporters to exercise patience in addressing their concerns.
"Any time we go through something like this, we learn to be better off and let those we have elected come to serve the nation.”
