The Head of Settlement Studies at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Prof Divine Ahadzie has won a Real Impact Award.

Prof. Ahadzie becomes the first professor from an emerging economy to win the award.
Now in their third year, the Real Impact awards by the Emerald Group Publishing celebrates those in the research community who go above and beyond to make a difference.
The awards seek to raise the profile of individuals, teams and institutions that are committed to real impact through their research. It also recognizes innovative approaches to achieving real impact.
The awards are also meant to bridge the gap between research and practice by celebrating truly collaborative ways of working.
