League leaders Hearts of Oak need a victory on matchday 33 to earn a whopping GHS 250,000; an amount set aside for the Ghana Premier League (GPL) winner this season.
After 32 games, Hearts of Oak are top of the league log with 60 points, three points above arch rivals Asante Kotoko.
With the head-to-head format in place, the Phobians will be outright champions if they manage to beat a struggling Liberty Professionals side on Sunday afternoon.
If they manage to earn all three points, Hearts will take home 40 gold medals, GHS 10,000 worth of groceries from Melcom Shopping Center and the cash prize, which is a increase as compared to the GHS 180,000 received by Aduana Stars for winning the league in the 2016/17 campaign.
Their rivals, Asante Kotoko, will hope to catch up as they face Bechem United on Sunday. Both Hearts and Kotoko will play at 3pm.
Hearts are yet to win the coveted GPL trophy since 2009.
