The Accra Metropolitan Environmental Health Inspectors, under the Cleanghana Campaign, on Wednesday issued an abatement order to three food vendors at the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange in Accra.
The vendors were accused of selling food under unhygienic conditions.
The offenders have one week to put their things in order. Failure to comply will mean prosecution.
The team, upon realizing that many people around the OA bus terminal were not wearing nose masks, enforced compliance with the Covid-19 Safety Protocols. Persons found without nose masks were forced to buy one.
Beggars of foreign descent were seen with their children gathered on the pavement with filth surrounding them.
They were instructed to sweep all the filth.
