According to the Head of Communication Design Department at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology Dr. Ralitsa Diana Debrah, the hub was inspired by the Sustainable Development Goal 8 - Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all.
“The digital media event, focused on entrepreneurship and digital leadership and media-photography as career options for the youth.
“Our goal for this programme was to help young professionals in any discipline to develop their potential in digital media and prepare for a digital future,” Dr. Debrah said.

“It is our hope that we would organise more of such programmes in partnership with stakeholders, to train and capacitate the youth for a lifelong career for decent work and a digital future,” she emphasised.
