The Commissioner-General of the Ghana Pavilion, Expo 2021, Carlos Ahenkora, has denounced claims of poor customer service at the event.
A video circulating on social media has seen a disgruntled patron lament what he claims to be attendants at the Pavilion chatting and leaving patrons unattended to.
In a press statement, Carlos Ahenkora described the content as “negative”, suggesting that the pavilion has been vibrant and well managed as scheduled each day.
“Our staff have professionally received visitors to the stand and have had several positive feedback from visitors on how engaging the pavilion has been. It is rather unfortunate how a naysayer’s perception about the stand is purported to represent a general impression of the pavilion,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s participation at the Expo has recorded some good gains, including a Memorandum of Understanding between Dubai South and the Ghana Investment Promotion Center (GIPC) for deepened trade and investment partnerships.
“There are so many positive things happening at Ghana's pavilion that could be harnessed for the good of the country. I assure you that Ghana is positioned to ensure the world experiences its potentials and limitless opportunities at the ongoing Expo 2020 Dubai,” the commissioner General stated.
