The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) has revealed the top nominees to be honored at the 2021 edition of the SWAG Awards.
This year’s event to be held in Accra will be the association’s 46th time since the inception of the award scheme.
The annual award scheme is to award top performing sports personalities for the calendar year.
Having critiqued the efforts of the Awards Nomination Committee, the General Assembly has endorsed and given the approval for the final list of performers for the 2020/21 calendar year, which ended in September.
This year’s awards night will see the inclusion of the SWAG Top 5, which will reward Federations that worked actively in the calendar year in question, despite receiving little or no support. These Federations will be ranked through a voting process.
