The 22-year-old secured the honour after a remarkable year in which she delivered some of the most outstanding performances by a Ghanaian swimmer on both the continental and global stage.
In August, Joselle broke her own national record in the 50m freestyle, clocking 26.48 seconds at the 2025 World Aquatics Championships.
She followed it up with another national record in the 100m freestyle with 58.98 seconds, a performance that also earned her the Best Performance - Female Senior award based on World Aquatics Points.
Her strong form continued at the 2025 Africa Aquatics Zone 2 Championships in Accra, where she finished as the second-best female swimmer overall, amassing five medals including three gold.
"I am super honoured and proud to be a girl in Aquatic sports,” Joselle told JoySports.
“It is very much a blessing. It's huge and a motivation to do better, grow, and to learn."
